Beskrivning
BIQU är ett varumärke som tillhör BIGTREETECH. Det är en mycket känd tillverkare för moderkort för 3D-skrivare och uppgraderingskomponenter som olika TMC-stegdrivrutiner och TFT-pekskärmar.
Nu har de samlat sina många års kunskap och erfarenhet inom 3D-skrivarindustrin och har kombinerat allt i BIQU B1 - en 3D-skrivare speciellt för DIY-uppgraderingar.
BTT SKR V1.4 32-bitars moderkort
En SKR V1.4 32-bitars moderkort från BIGTREETECH är installerad i BIQU B1. Detta är redan en mycket populär och välkänd uppgradering. Det integrerade moderkortet är mycket stabilt och stöder många anslutningar och gränssnitt för uppgraderingar samt inställningar som WIFI, dubbel Z-axel etc.
Upgrade Adapter Board
Det extra uppgraderingskortet är en mycket bekväm funktion för alla som vill uppgradera sin skrivare ytterligare. Som en av få 3D-skrivare har B1 en USB-C-anslutning och hållare för Antclabs BLTouch Upgrade eller anslutning för Smart Filament Sensor från BIGTREETECH.
Du behöver en förlängningskabel (1m) för att använda BLTouch.

TFT35 är också en populär uppgradering för många tillverkare eftersom den ger många fördelar som:

BIQU SSS (Super Spring Steel)
Den magnetiska stålplattan är en ny innovation från BIQU. Den fäster magnetiskt på plattformen och kan enkelt tas bort efter utskrift. Genom att försiktigt böja plattan kan den färdiga utskriften tas bort enkelt och säkert.
Stålplattan har en speciell beläggning för att säkerställa mycket god vidhäftning.
Dessutom kan stålplattan användas på båda sidor - dubbelt så lång livslängd!

Väldigt nöjd med skrivaren. Det enda man hör är fläktarna annars extremt tyst och bra utskrifter.

Very good, but needs a few mods.

Great printer, not just for the price, its simply a very good printer. There are problems tough.
* Biqu obviously use knock off components and rename them, not devulging what other components will fit. Some components are better than the competition the B1 is cloneing, some are just bad.
* The case fans are loud and i swapped them. This is easy and cheap. Some minor soldering required. Bought 2 12v 40x10mm nocutas and buck converters. There are guides on YT. Cost me maybe €25 total, lowering the noise significantly and is now no more loud than a gaming computer on your desk.
* The parts cooling fans are of the worst quality i have ever come across. They rattle, make huge noise and barely move air. Thankfully there is a easy replacement for 24v 5015 fans, and they are excellent. With them the printer suddently becomes a whole other beast, and you can do essentially 90 degree mid air printing with zero droopage. And its a lot more quiet.
* The hotend is fine, it looks to be a e3d chimaera knock off with obviously only one nozzle. Some say the heatbreak will have to be swapped or fixed after a while, i have'nt yet, as i may just get a H2 direct drive upgrade instead. (This is an obvious e3d knockoff again, looks very good though, and smaller, lighter.) Google biqu b1 hotend fix. Should be easy to do.
* The hotend heatsink fan is loud and there is no obvious upgrade i can find - Biqu does not devulge the specs of the fan. You should not use a noctua here, as the heatsink will require a very specific CFM and static pressure, you dont want to go over or under too much as this will effect longer prints, and you will get thermal runaway, auto aborting your prints. If i can find the specs of the fan, or take a chance on a reputable taiwanese or eurpoean brand i will swap it. I am yet to find a 3d printed hotend carriage that will fit the B1. Again, they dont divulge specs or what it is a clone of, so this may take a while for the community to create. The fan works though and is not catastrofically loud, it is pretty much acceptable.
* The nozzle size is "UM2", no idea what nozzles to buy to replace them when they get used up... Biqu did provide 3 nozzles in the package tough.
* The hot plate came slightly scewed, this is common among printers in this price range. Get a bltouch. No really, add to cart. This fixes the issue.
There are glass plates you can use, they are apparently excellent.
Upgrades you should print are availiable on thingiverse: a filament guide, a cable chain, a raspberry pi case you can mount on the aluminium extrusions. Do not put a stabilizer on the z axis screw, it is meant to be standing free, or it will get bent.
As for the rest, well i bet the wheels will get worn after a while, cheap to replace though, so thats fine.
It really is a great printer overall. Im happy with it but i am not happy with biqu, i emailed them a week back about the fans and nozzle and trying to get some specs, and no response still.
The creality ender is a lot more common and has a lot more upgrade paths, but you will need to do a lot more upgrades, and so it will be more expensive in the end. I tend to trust creality a bit more though. But biqu comes with a lot of upgrades already installed and is cheaper. There will likely be more upgrades availiable in the future as the community figure out the specs to everything.
I cant tell you to choose this over a creality, it really is 50/50. I htink i would have been just as happy with the creality.
